Greetings to the faithful following of “The Red Road Band”!

This is Socrates, the Drummer and Manager of the Red Road Band. I wanted to bring to light my recent battle with a couple of health issues I had. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with early Clear Cell Carcinoma (cancer) in my left kidney and a decline in Heart function due to a Left Bundle Branch Block I’ve suffered with all my life. A plan was put together to deal with these issues that included a partial nephrectomy to remove the cancerous tissue and shortly afterwards to be implanted with a pacemaker for heart re-synchronization therapy. I have had both procedures successfully completed and I’m happy to say that the Cancer has been completely removed and my Heart function is getting better by the day.

During this time, however, I missed a performance and had to reschedule others since I was not available to participate in the band.

Now that I’m on the other side of those health issues, The Red Road Band can really begin concentrating on moving forward with more shows, more exposure on social media, more Music Video content, and so forth. We look forward to working with amazing people like yourselves that will continue supporting The Red Road Band and its efforts to deliver great performances and bring unforgettable music to the south Florida area. Thank you for your patience and support during this time!
