Roberto Rodriguez

Lead Guitar, Lead Singer

Roberto Rodrigues is a versatile guitarist with a rich musical upbringing. Born to Cuban immigrant parents, he was immersed in salsa and Afro-Cuban jazz from a young age, alongside American classics from artists like The Bee Gees and Sam Cooke. As he grew older, his musical palette expanded to include fusion greats like Weather Report and Return to Forever, as well as iconic rock bands like Led Zeppelin and Rush.

Roberto picked up the guitar at 15 and quickly developed his skills, drawing inspiration from guitar legends like Alex Lifeson, Al Di Meola, and Steve Vai. A primarily self-taught musician, he honed his craft through collaborations with experienced musicians and lessons from peers, including Grammy Award-winning producer/guitarist Larry Mitchell.

By 17, Roberto was playing in NYC bands like Exeter and Enough Cryz the Thunder, where he began writing and co-writing music. After relocating to Florida, he joined local bands Scarlet Letter and AstridVoxx, playing regularly and even winning a Guitar God Competition. With a unique blend of progressive hard rock and Afro-Cuban influences, Roberto continues to evolve as a guitarist and performer. Currently, Roberto is the lead singer and Lead Guitarist for The Red Road Band. http://redroadband.com
